Montana

An evaluation of alternatives is being conducted to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians on Montana Avenue. Each alternative will have different impacts on adjacent property, driveway access, on-street parking, traffic flow on Montana Avenue and nearby streets, pedestrian circulation, and the streetscape. Vine Street: Nixon to Erkenbrecher

The project includes widening Vine Street to 5 lanes, bike friendly curb lanes, curb, sidewalk, and an intersection realignment at Erkenbrecher and Vine. Construction ongoing. Anticipated construction finished November 2008.
HAM-US27-6.99 Colerain Avenue from Virginia to Leeper

Improve the horizontal geometry and widen to standard lane widths. This project is the last piece of the improvements to Colerain Avenue (US 27) north of I-74.

Harrison

This project extends from the Western Corporation limit, Higee Street, to Queen City Avenue. The majority of the project consists of street resurfacing and curb repair with the remainder including spot improvements at various safety problem locations. Construction to begin in 2012. Spring Grove Avenue: Winton Road to Mitchell Avenue and Clifton Avenue at Kenard Avenue

This project includes improvements to the curb location on Spring Grove Avenue between Winton Road and W. Mitchell Avenue including changes at the Clifton Avenue intersection. Clifton Avenue is being widened to provide a left turn lane onto Kenard Avenue which requires the bridge spanning the Mill Creek to be replaced. Highway work includes pavement rehabilitation, new sidewalk and new traffic signals.
Madison Road Improvement - East Eastwood Circle to Red Bank Expressway

This project includes widening Madison Road to allow a left turn lane that support development on Babson Place; a new traffic signal; new sidewalk, curb, signage, and pavement markings; and a new water main.
