RECORDS SECTION, commanded by a lieutenant, receives, reviews and files most criminal offense reports, auto accident reports and related records.  Additionally, reports of offenses committed, criminal and traffic arrests, missing persons, homicides, traffic stop data, gun registrations, and public records requests are handled by this section.  This section is responsible for maintaining the Department’s computerized criminal and traffic court dockets, court information sheets and statistical reports.  This section processes traffic violation citations, Ohio Crash Reports and applications for firearm transfers and registration.  All public  records requests are coordinated by this section.
