Aggravated Murder Escapee Apprehended In Cincinnati

Gerald D. Bullucks DOB 3/28/88 was arrested today at approximately 1:00P.M. at 7763 Reading Road by members of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), Cincinnati SWAT, and Ohio State Patrol.  Investigative information developed by the cooperative efforts of these law enforcement agencies led officers to the Sycamore Hotel on Reading Road.  The Cincinnati SWAT Team was used to gain entry and Bullucks was arrested without incident. 

SOFAST is comprised of law enforcement officers from the United States Marshall’s Office, Drug Enforcement Administration, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cincinnati Police Department.

SOFAST and the Ohio State Patrol have been searching for Bullucks since his escape July 15 from the Twin Valley Behavioral Health Center in Columbus, Ohio.   Bullucks was being held on (2) counts of Aggravated Murder, (1) count of Attempted Aggravated Murder, (1) count of Felonious Assault, and (4) counts of Aggravated Robbery.  On May 9, 2007, Cincinnati Homicide Unit charged Bullucks with the December 31, 2006, murder of Richard R. Ellison at Westwood Northern Boulevard and Goble Avenue.
