Sawyer Point is an outstanding riverfront facility located along the shore of the Ohio River just south of downtown Cincinnati. This mile-long linear park features many different spaces serving all segments of the region's population. Along with a unique design, it features eye- catching landscaping, a performance pavilion, concessions, outdoor tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a world class playground, a dynamic water feature, and many other attractions. How Cincinnati Became a City
The Peace of Paris of 1783 ended the Revolutionary War, recognized the independence of the Thirteen Colonies, and granted the new nation all the lands between the Appalachians and the Mississippi River.
