7. Where do I buy a quarterly/annual-parking permit for Burnet Woods?
Burnet Woods parking permits are sold at the Visitor Center located in Krohn Conservatory and are needed if parking for more than 2 consecutive hours in the park. Permit holders must display their permits and park in designated parking areas, weekdays only. Permit costs - quarterly permits: $125, annual permits: $350. 8. What are the volunteer opportunities in Cincinnati Parks and who do I call to sign up as a volunteer?

9. Where are the offices of the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners located and, the Director’s Office?
The Commissioner’s office and Director’s office are located at 950 Eden Park Drive, the main entrance to Eden Park off of Gilbert Avenue. Call 513-352-4079 for more information.
10. When and where does the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners hold their meetings?
Public meetings of the Park Board are usually held once a month at 9:00 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Park Board’s administration office, 950 Eden Park Drive. Call the Board’s office at 513-352-4079 to confirm meeting dates and times.
11. There is a ‘distressed’ wild animal in my yard. Whom do I call for assistance?
Contact a private animal control company or for deer, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife, 513-385-7396. For injured ‘baby’ animals call Second Chance, 513-875-3433. To report poaching issues, call the ODNR’s Xenia office, 937-372-9261. For injured birds of prey contact Raptor Inc., 513-825-3325.
12. Does Cincinnati Parks have a dog park where dogs are permitted to be off-leash?
Cincinnati Parks has developed approximately two acres in Mt. Airy Forest into a park for dogs. The area is fenced and usage rules are posted on site. Dogs may run leash-free in this dog park, when accompanied by a guardian. The dog park is located at Mt. Airy Forest's Highpoint Picnic Area on Westwood Northern Blvd. between Montana Ave. and North Bend Road.
13. Does the Park Department manage public athletic leagues, community recreation centers, swimming pools, senior centers, golf courses, therapeutic recreation programs, and along the downtown central riverfront- Sawyer Point and Yeatmans Cove?

14. What winter activities does Cincinnati Parks offer?
Ice skating is permitted on the lakes in Eden Park when conditions are deemed safe (look for the blue flags), sledding, and cross-country skiing permitted in all park area unless otherwise posted.
