Retirement News & Updates

  • Retirees affected by the recently enacted healthcare changes may be receiving a termination notice from Anthem. Please disregard these notices as they were automatically generated as a result of the change in healthcare benefit plans effective January 1, 2010.  RETIREE HEALTHCARE COVERAGE BY CRS HAS NOT BEEN TERMINATED.

  • In October 2009, Anthem issued a questionnaire to retirees with eligible dependent children to confirm their continued eligibility. If you received that questionnaire but did not send a response, Anthem issued healthcare termination notices for dependent children. If you received such a notice, please contact the Retirement Office at (513) 352-3227 to request a form to restart coverage for your dependent children that are still eligible for healthcare coverage.

  • Please note that due to a change in the Federal income tax withholding table that became effective January 1, 2010, some retirees will notice an increase in the amount of Federal tax withheld, affecting their net monthly pension benefit amount.
